Out in June is a Sony vaio T series. This is another one of the slim, stylish and impressive league that you will sport from Sony’s high-end product chain. This notebook will came in a low resolution screen something we didn’t expect from Sony, but it will spoil for a fight as it challenges the already dominating ultrabook clans from other manufactures like Apple, HP and Asus who have stabilized their feet in the notebook niche.

Sony has been absent from the ultrabook world, and its entrance is with SVT1311ME is not a bad choice and its sure to send shock waves across the entire lot of notebook PC makers as they be left wondering what Sony’s next move will be! The Sony Vaio has knocked and we open the door for it, we will see a stylish design as always from Sony accompanied with a13-inch screen, and loaded with an Intel core i3 which will have 4 GB OF RAM to handle in during processing.

SONY VAIO T SERIES –BODY AND DESIGN

TheSony T series vaio sports a very good-to look at immaculately vanished metal lid, which has only the Vaio logo sunk on it. This makes the Sony Z series another laptop from Sony is very Svelte and the new T-series isn’t expected to look any different as it falls in the same clan.

Sony being not new to the thin and light concept; definitely the Sony T series will be looking sleek. The chassis of the Vaio T series is made from an alloy of alluminium and Magnesium, a factor which is likely to make this notebook particularly sturdy. This being a completely new concept in laptop body building, it remains to be seen how strong enough the body will stand the bumpy and every day knocks it going to encounter.

THICKNESS AND WEIGHT

The is a few mm chubbier than its sister the Z-series, it’s approximately 17.8mm, roughly the same in thickness as the classic Asus Zenbook ux31.Given that the notion behind the notebooks is to make a laptop as slim and as light as possible, the Sony vaio t series at 1.6kg idoes not beat this bench mark though its note fairing badly off

PORTS AND CONNECTIVITY

The Sony vaio has its ports around the sides. It has one USB 3.o and two USB 2.o ports, it has a VGA camera and a HDMI outlet, an Ethernet jack and too an SD card reader.

SONY VAIO T SERIES SREEN

SONY vaio t series comes with a 13-inch screen with a display in which a resolution of 1366*768 pixels has been packed; this is much lower as compared to the Asus Zenbook which has packed 1600*900 pixels into the same space.

Sony are record for making the best TVs in terms of quality and this notebook model is isn’t going to go below that. As for now I do cross- my fingers and hope it will look greate,it is a bit of a surprise that the Sony T-series was not designed to take the rivals head on, but at least it should have kept up to them!

PERFORMANCE AND PROCESSOR

Sony announced that the SVT1311 will use the latest Intel core processor –IVY BRIDGE chip, but the T-series will come carrying i3 core chip which is the archaic Sandy bridge model.

The i3-2367 could be still up-task- hoping that it will come at a good clock speed- and with a 4GB RAM, it will manage well in mult-tasking. As regards graphics power, it comes with built-in Intel HD300 graphics which is not good news for gamers. The machine as storage of the all-powerful SSD drive-which offers fastness and more power hence the computer boots quickly.

My take on vaio T series

Failing to use the more powerful core i5 and i7 versions which are already in use from major rivals, means that the set date of launch will not attract much fanfare from the media! This is not what we expect from a new product inauguration from Sony.
